Opensea Troubleshooting
On this page, you'll find guides on modifying your contract's collection name, exporting keys from Friendtech, and unveiling hidden airdrops on OpenSea for an easy digital asset management experience.
Changing Your Contract's Collection Name
When you first deploy a contract and airdrop an ERC-1155 to your keyholders via KeyDrop, the artwork title of the initial airdrop is used as the collection name on Opensea. However, this name may not accurately represent your collection as it grows. Changing the collection name to something more descriptive or fitting for your future keydrops can help create a cohesive identity for your collection on Opensea, making it more recognizable to your keyholders. Below is a guide on how to change your collection name to whatever you'd like.
From Keydrop, select NFT Drop, and navigate to the 'Create' panel. If you've already deployed a contract and keydropped to your keyholders, as long as you have that same wallet connected you should see something like the below image
Within the red box, the symbol to the far right will take you to your OpenSea collection for your keydrops. Navigate to the Opensea collection, and click on the three dots to the right of the page
Select 'Edit Collection', and you will see options for editing the collection name, collection URL, etc. To save your new collection name, Opensea will require you to add a logo for your collection as well. This can be whatever you'd like, including one of the art pieces you have already keydropped.
Once you've made all your changes, click on 'Save Collection', then you should be good to go!
Exporting a private key from Friendtech allows users to manage their assets in other wallets, enhancing flexibility and control. By importing this key into a different wallet, users can view and interact with their keydrops on platforms like OpenSea, especially if they wish to unhide airdropped NFTs which are hidden by default to prevent spam. This way, they can fully access and manage their keydropped assets, making the most out of the features offered by other platforms and wallets.
Exporting Your Friendtech Private Key
Exporting your private key from Friendtech enables more flexible asset management. By importing this key into another wallet, you can view and interact with your keydrops on platforms like Opensea. However, it's crucial to keep your private key secure. This key is essentially the access to your entire Friendtech account and its assets. Exposing it can lead to loss of your digital assets. Ensure to store it securely and never share it with anyone. Now, let's proceed with the simple steps on how to export your private key from Friendtech:
In the Friendtech app, click or tap your wallet icon located at the top right.
Select 'Export Wallet'.
Click or tap to copy your private keys.
Now, you can import these keys into any browser wallet. The process varies between wallets. For further guidance, refer to:

Unhiding Your Keydrops On Opensea
On Opensea, airdropped NFTs are hidden by default to protect users from potential spam and unsolicited assets. While this feature helps in maintaining a clutter-free and secure environment, it may also obscure legitimate airdrops from platforms like KeyDrop. Unhiding these airdrops allows you to fully view and manage your keydropped assets on Opensea, ensuring you don't miss out on any desired NFTs you may be receiving. In the following guide, we'll walk you through the simple process of making these hidden airdrops visible on your Opensea account.
Log in to Opensea by connecting your wallet using the button at the top right, sign whatever messages are necessary to create your account using your Friendtech wallet.
Navigate to your profile by hovering over the profile picture at the top right, clicking, and selecting 'Profile'
Select the 'More' button, and click on 'Hidden'
On the bottom of your NFT, click the three-dot menu. If you don't see this option, check to make sure you're not in Gallery view.
Select 'Unhide'.
You'll see a confirmation message and the item will move back to the Collected tab.
If you'd like more detailed documentation on this part, refer to Opensea's official documentation for how to hide or unhide an NFT.
